For those of us who are play store freaks and who have installed and or either mistakenly deleted the app or just did and tried reinstalling it through play store
First what is Error 24.
Its an error that shows when you try to reinstall an app that was installed before and the app folder files wasn't removed.
That's to say that the app's data is still on your device.
There are two ways to rectify this problem.
step one
Go to settings-> apps ->swipe to all—> scroll to Google play store —) enter and click
Force stop —> clear data —> disable.
Step two
Exit and reopen Google play store in your app list.
Retry downloading again.
Method two{root}
This always works on rooted phones.
Step one
Download root explorer here if you don't have one.
Install and one it.
Go to data —> data{ will ask for root privileges} grant it.
now you see list folders of your apps. Search for the folder of the app you
Wanted to download and delete it.
Step two
Exist and open play store and retry again.
Note this works on all rooted phones
